Sectors
Everton develops and manufactures spray cans and aerosol solutions for third parties in the main cosmetic, medical, domestic and technical sectors, offering certified quality and some of the most modern facilities in Europe.
The production sectors
Innovation and efficiency drive every stage of our work: needs analysis, product research, raw material selection and formulation development.
Thanks to a well-equipped in-house laboratory and flexible production lines, we create high-performance aerosol solutions that comply with the technical and regulatory requirements of each sector.
Cosmetic products
Discover our formulations for body and hair care and styling: mousses, hairsprays, dry shampoos, deodorants, texturisers and professional products developed to guarantee effectiveness, sensoriality and safety.
Medical devices
We manufacture dermatological aerosols, soothing products, ice sprays, etc.
Household products (Domestic)
Aerosol solutions for cleaning, caring for and fragrancing rooms: air fresheners, air fresheners, surface cleaners, polishes, oven cleaners and products designed to keep your home looking its best and functioning perfectly.
Technical products
High-performance technical formulations for the industrial and professional sectors: lubricants, penetrating oils, silicones, anti-corrosion products and maintenance sprays.
Traditional system
The bulk, generally consisting of a liquid phase (but also powders or pastes), is mixed inside the cylinder with a propellant gas that can be liquid under pressure, such as LPG, or compressed (such as air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide).
Bag-on-valve system
In the Bag On Valve (BOV) system, a bag is welded directly to the valve. This creates two separate compartments: the inside of the bag, where the bulk product is dispensed, and an external chamber between the bag and the cylinder containing the propellant, which in this case serves only to exert pressure on the bag during use. The Bag On Valve system has numerous advantages over the “traditional” system, first and foremost the possibility of packaging very dense products (such as gels), which are particularly sensitive to contact with gas or air, or intended for food or pharmaceutical use.
FAQ
1. What is the difference between the traditional system and the Bag-On-Valve system?
The traditional system mixes the bulk product and propellant in the cylinder, while in the Bag-On-Valve system the product is contained in a separate bag.
The traditional system is more versatile and suitable for large volumes; the BOV guarantees product protection, continuous dispensing and greater hygiene.
2. How do I choose the most suitable technology for my product?
The choice depends on the viscosity of the bulk product, the sensitivity of the formulation, the type of dispensing required and the sector of use.
Everton supports customers in technical and regulatory assessments to identify the best performing solution.
3. In which sectors is the use of Bag-On-Valve recommended?
BOV is particularly suitable for dermatological products, thermal waters, gels, sensitive formulations, medical devices and certain technical products that require purity and stability.
It is also useful in domestic applications where contact between bulk and propellant gas is to be avoided.
4. Can I produce the same formulation in both traditional and BOV formats?
In some cases, yes, but not always.
The two technologies have different requirements in terms of viscosity, compatibility and dispensing methods.
The Everton laboratory assesses feasibility and, if necessary, adapts the formulation to the most suitable system.
