Medical devices

Everton manufactures sprays and aerosol solutions for medical devices, guaranteeing certified processes, high standards and full compliance with European regulatory requirements.

Production by sector

We produce various types of medical devices developed for specific dermatological applications or dedicated to personal well-being, including: thermal water sprays, soothing dermatological solutions, healing or protective sprays, and skin-purifying cleansers.

Traditional system

The bulk, generally consisting of a liquid phase (but also powders or pastes), is mixed inside the cylinder with a propellant gas that can be liquid under pressure, such as LPG, or compressed (such as air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide).

Bag on Valve System

In the Bag On Valve (BOV) system, a bag is welded directly to the valve. This creates two separate compartments: the inside of the bag, where the bulk product is dispensed, and an external chamber between the bag and the cylinder containing the propellant, which in this case serves only to exert pressure on the bag during use. The Bag On Valve system has numerous advantages over the “traditional” system, first and foremost the possibility of packaging very dense products (such as creams), which are particularly sensitive to contact with gas or air, or intended for food use or medical devices.

FAQ

1. What standards do you follow for the production of medical devices?
Production follows the UNI EN ISO 13485 standard, which guarantees document control, traceability, risk assessment and process compliance with medical sector requirements.
2. Can you develop new formulations for medical devices?
Yes. Our R&D laboratory supports the development or optimisation of formulations, verifying their stability, safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. When is the use of Bag-On-Valve technology recommended in medical devices?
BOV is particularly suitable for sensitive solutions, dermatological products, thermal waters and formulations that must avoid contact with propellant gas.
It guarantees more controlled delivery.
